Ike Skelton House
Missouri Ave Ft. Leonard Wood, MO Built in 1941, this building housed the post's Red Cross Office for 58 years. In 1999, it was converted to VIP Guest Quarters and named in honor of Rep. Ike Skelton.

Miller Cave

Museums of Fort Leonard Wood

The museums are a complex of three museums representing the contributions of the Military Police, Chemical Warfare and Engineering Divisions to the Armed Forces throughout history. There are both static and interactive displays. |
 | Adjacent to the museum complex is the Fort Leonard Wood Museum featuring WWII, Korean and Vietnam era barracks, mess halls, prisoner of war barracks, church and armament. The tours are open to the public and admission is free. | |

Old Post Headquarters
Missouri Ave. Ft. Leonard Wood, MO Completed in May 1941, during the original construction of Fort Leonard Wood, this building housed the post headquarters until 1989. Since that time, it has accommodated many installation organizations.
Rolling Heath School
FLW 26 Ft. Leonard Wood, MO Built in 1912, grades 1 thru 8 were taught here until 1941. The building was restored in 1995 and is currently used by nature, historical and civic groups. Behind the school there is a walking trail through the woods. |

Stone Mill Spring
Off FLW 25 Ft. Leonard Wood, MO With a flow of 18 million gallons of water a day, the spring provides excellent fishing. It is stocked with over 3,000 lbs of rainbow trout per year. The site is named for a historic mill that began operation in the 1840's. Approximately a 1/2 mile walk to spring.
Recreation
Piney Valley Golf Course
18 hole, par 72 course runs through a beautiful valley along the Big Piney River, and is open year round, weather permitting. The course is open to the public and features a driving range, putting green, chipping area, pro shop, snack bar and lessons. |
