Guest Transiet Tax Description - Coming
Soon. Information for Hotels, motels, cabins, B & B's, apartments, lodging
rented for less than 90 consecutive days within a calendar quarter. Effective August 28, 2007 the transient guest tax must be collected on all stays of 90 days or less in a calendar quarter. (Do not confuse with 90 consecutive days). This change should eliminate any confusions and difficulties with the collection of the guest tax.

Phone Bank: Located in the Visitors' Center which vistors may call your front desk for vacancy information.

Event Planning Packet: Containing information on how to market your event, how to write a

Website Listings:List your event on our calendar. - Free of charge
Lobby Board: Event will be listed on the lobby board in the Visitors Center
Brochures/flyers Display: Event brochures/flyers may be displayed in the Visitors Center
Event Vendor Applications: Can be downloaded from the Pulaski County Tourism Bureau
website, if application is provided to the Bureau
Ticket Sales: The
Bureau offers your event tickets for sale. Processing fee applies.
Restaurants
Guest Resource Book: This book is supplied to lodging partners for display in facility lobby; your take out menu can be displayed in this resource book. The book is updated annually.

Ambassador Program
Be an ambassador to Pulaski County by greeting guests to our area that stop in at the Visitors Center.
Intern Educational Program
The Pulaski County Tourism Bureau Partners with the Hospitality Course at the Waynesville Technically Academy, providing an opportunity for hands on experience in the day to day activities of the business world and the tourism industry. Interns learn how to interact with visitors, fulfill leads, webdesign, accounting, marketing; advertising, tracking advertising success, design a resume', apply and participate in a mock job interview, just to name a few. Interns also attend at least one board meeting. Evaluations are held monthly.
